Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Med/Surg travel nurse in Florence, SC for a 13‑week assignment. This RN will work 48 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift, in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting, with 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred. BLS is required and travel experience is a plus.

You will conduct assessments, document findings, and educate patients and families, while supporting discharge planning and patient safety throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 2 years of RN experience with emphasis on acute care.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside care and assess patients across Med Surg units.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Prepare equipment, insert IVs and assist during examinations/treatments.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
