Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications. You will provide bedside care, assessments, medication administration, and patient/family education while supporting discharge planning. Travel stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel nursing assignment with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection.
• Document findings and provide education and support to families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and assist with discharge planning.
