TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role focuses on medical/surgical patient care in a fast-paced environment with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and be certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Med/Surg RN specialty and travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med Surg patients, including pre- and post-op care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients and families.
• Assist in discharge planning and initiate patient education.
