Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg Travel Nurse in Chattanooga, TN. This RN will conduct patient assessments, prioritize data collection, and provide education and support to patients and families. The role involves bedside care, medication administration, wound care, and discharge planning in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and 1–2 years of acute care experience. This travel position offers 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour work week and a tax-free stipend

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required for travel assignments.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside care for Med Surg patients, including post-op and pre-op care.
• Administer, record, and monitor prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
