Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Med Surg Travel RN for a travel assignment in Dublin, GA. The nurse will perform bedside care, administer medications, and assist with perioperative and discharge tasks in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.

Requirements include BLS and 2 years of acute care experience. This travel role offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week on day shifts, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a Med Surg patient population (pre- and post-op).
• Administer and document medications, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Assist during examinations and treatments with physicians.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning and education as prescribed.
