Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Dublin, Georgia. This MedSurg RN position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience with BLS certification, 40 hours per week, 8-hour daytime shifts, and a 13-week assignment starting 10/05/2026.

As a MedSurg RN, you will perform patient assessments, document findings, and educate families while providing bedside care and supporting discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients (pre- and post-op).
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations/treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education plans.
