Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for Nights in Lewiston, Maine, with a 12-week assignment. You will support Med Surg operations and provide direct patient care per scope.

Pay is up to 672–768 gross per shift, equivalent to 56–64 per hour, with weekly pay and a $3/hour differential. Must have RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1 year of charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 1 year as charge nurse in Med Surg.
• PALS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director with daily Med Surg operations, staffing, and workflow.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope.
• Monitor patient care plans and adjust as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes.
• Support safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shift.

5. PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
