Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12‑week assignment offers competitive pay and a $3/hour differential on top of base rate. You will support department operations, supervise staff, and provide direct patient care within your scope.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and have at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg. Immediate opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Monitor care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive outcomes.
• Support a safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
