Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Night shifts with a pay range of $56.00–$64.00 per hour, plus a $3/hour differential and weekly pay.

The role involves direct patient care, staffing oversight, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality care in Med Surg. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire, and at least 1 year as a charge nurse in a Med Surg setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and current.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and current.
• PALS (AHA) required on hire and current.
• Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
