Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an MDS Float Candidate to provide comprehensive MDS coverage across facilities with extensive travel. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, able to meet resident needs while coordinating with families.

Travel Monday–Friday is required, with overnight stays. This is a full-time travel role across KY, TN, IN and NC, with mileage and lodging reimbursement and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of three years MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage and ensure RAI, PPS, QM’s, Medicaid/Medicare guidance for SHC facilities.
• Collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist on onboarding of new MDSC.
• Demonstrate competency in RAI, care planning, PPS, Medicare guidelines.
