Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging clinic, requiring ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications with 2 years of preferred experience.

Details

Outpatient clinic setting located in a medical office building performing breast imaging, screening, and diagnostic mammography
4x10 hour day shifts, with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM based on unit needs
Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends required, though ability to support Saturdays if needed is a plus
No call required, and no holiday coverage except Christmas Eve (closed day after Thanksgiving)
Average caseload of 15-18 exams per technologist per day
Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Current ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of experience required, with 2 years preferred
Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
Epic EMR experience required
Valid state license required at time of submission, license required if applicable
Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Additional Information

Perform breast imaging procedures including 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms
First-time travelers will be considered for this role
Travel experience is not required
Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required prior to start
Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with Providence facilities, including dates and location if applicable
Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated for at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for a travel position
Local candidates are accepted at a lower bill rate
