Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of mammography experience to work day shifts in Roxboro, NC. The role requires mammography and X-ray experience, plus mammography certification and AHA certifications.

This is a 13-week travel assignment in a Joint Commission accredited facility with GE 3D mammography and Change/Meditech for EHR. Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint facilities in the last 12 months and cannot be employed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Mammography experience required.
• Mammography certification required, license required if applicable.
• AHA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment in the Mammography department.
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• May float to assist in X-Ray when Mammography is not busy.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Mammography experience required
• X-Ray experience required
• Mammography certification required, license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment in the Mammography department
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Equipment includes GE 3D mammography unit
• EHR system used is Change/Meditech
• May float to assist in X-Ray when Mammography is not busy
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and features four fully digital operating rooms
• Caribbean Blue scrub color required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
