Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of mammography experience and ARRT certification for an outpatient breast care imaging role in Cumming, GA.

The job uses Cerner EMR, involves mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density and breast biopsy procedures, and follows a Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient breast imaging including mammograms, breast US, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures.
• Uses Cerner EMR for documentation and order entry.
• Schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
• Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler.
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward.
