Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in an outpatient setting.

The role involves 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), a 13-week assignment, and potential float within the hospital based on patient care needs. Local and travel candidates are welcomed, with housing and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active WA license required if applicable.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Proficient in 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography setting performing screening and diagnostic procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, variable Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
• Perform both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for an outpatient population
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed prior to consideration
