Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Somerville, MA. The 13-week contract offers a weekday schedule, competitive pay, and the chance to work with premier outpatient imaging teams using Hologic equipment.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, document studies in EPIC, and collaborate with radiologists. ARRT(M) certification and MA license are required, with 2D/3D mammography experience and 8+ hours

Qualifications

• ARRT (M) certification required.
• Massachusetts Radiation Control License required by start date.
• Minimum 3 years of Mammography experience preferred.
• Hologic Mammography experience required.
• 2D and 3D mammography experience required.
• Documentation of 8+ hours of training in both 2D and 3D Mammography.
• EPIC documentation experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Operate Hologic mammography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations.
• Ensure patient comfort while delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Maintain image quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses.
• Document patient information and imaging studies within EPIC.
• Work independently while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
