Job summary

Aerotek in East Peoria, IL is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a contract role of 6 months with potential to extend. You will set up and operate CNC grinders, hobbs, shapers, drills, and other precision equipment, using Siemens and Fanuc controls to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision tools, reading blueprints and setup sheets, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC grinders, hobbs, shapers, drills, or similar precision machining equipment.
• Proficiency with Siemens and/or Fanuc controls.
• Ability to perform setups, tool changes, basic troubleshooting, and precision measurements.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to work overtime (50+ hours/week).

• Employees are responsible for their own daily transportation and for getting to the job site
• This is a 6-month contract with potential to last 1-3 months longer

*All employees can expect to work at least 50 hours per week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
