Job summary

The Long Term Care LPN position with Amergis is a travel assignment in Traverse City, Michigan, providing care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living setting. The LPN will support the care team, exercise clinical judgment under supervision, and help coordinate patient care to meet nursing standards.

Requirements include an active LPN license in the practicing state, BLS, health certificate if applicable, PPD/Chest X-ray, and background screening. 18+ with 1 year preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater.
• Successful completion of Amergis Background Screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the care team in the delivery of care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility.
• Demonstrate ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.
• Coordinate patient care and assist others in the management of patient care.
