Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for LTAC Med Surg / Telemetry in Columbia, South Carolina. This 13-week assignment offers 48 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, placing you in a high-acuity LTAC setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of LTAC or equivalent experience, current BLS, and state licensure eligibility. This travel role includes comprehensive benefits and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in LTAC or high acuity setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, and advanced wound management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers on treatment plans.
• Support mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs of patients.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery.
