Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The Med Surg / Telemetry role is 13 weeks long, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour days, onsite at the facility. The right candidate will hold an RN license and be able to cover travel needs in the region.

Applicants should have ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and at least 2 years of acute care experience. You will monitor patient telemetry, provide bedside care, and respond quickly to abnormal readings,

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and record displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
