Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an LPN for a Post Acute Long Term Care unit in Massachusetts. The role requires an active LPN license, BLS/BCLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience. The position is a 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM day shift.

You will provide direct resident care, document conditions and treatments, transcribe orders, and coordinate labs and appointments. Supervisory duties may include CNA coordination and charge nurse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours per day, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, and walk.
• Able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Post Acute Long Term Care facility setting.
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide direct resident care including medication administration, treatments, and narcotic counts.
• Maintain resident records including condition, medication, treatments, and progress notes.
• Transcribe physician orders and coordinate lab, test, and appointment scheduling.
• Assist with nursing history, assessments, MDS, and care plan updates.
• Supervise and coordinate CNA assignments.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Notify physicians and family members of changes in resident status.
• Participate in ongoing in-service education and training.
