American Traveler is hiring an LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The position requires 1+ year of nursing experience and a current TX LPN/LVN license with BLS certification.

Day shifts are Saturday through Monday, 0645–1915, with no on-call requirements. You'll work in a 66-bed rehab unit, caring for geriatric and neuro patients, using Cerner EHR, with a focus on rehabilitative nursing and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current TX or multistate LPN/LVN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1+ year of nursing experience required.
• Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, or BSN+)

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 66 beds.
• Rehab Nursing unit treating geriatric and neuro patient populations.
• Patient ratio of 7:1.
• Uses Cerner EHR.
• Day shift schedule, consistent block schedule Saturday through Monday, 0645-1915.
• No call requirements.
• Provide rehabilitative nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Facility is CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Programs.
• Royal blue scrub color required.
• Report time is 0645 and charge nurse should be asked for upon arrival.
• Free onsite parking available.
• Weekend coverage required every weekend.
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment.
