American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a day-shift Rehab Nursing IRF role in Edwardsville, IL. Requires BLS certification and an ADN/BSN, with bedside nursing and wound care experience.

The position works in a 34-bed inpatient rehab hospital with a 7:1 patient ratio, using Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc EHRs. Navy blue scrubs are required and relocation considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Bedside nursing, basic wound care, and medication administration experience required
• Rehab-specific and IV experience preferred
• Any level of experience considered

Responsibilities

• Work in a 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating stroke, amputation, TBI, SCI, MVA, ortho, trauma, and debility patients
• Patient ratio of 7:1
• Uses equipment including IVs, tube feeding pumps, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs/walkers
• Uses Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc EHR systems
• Day shift schedule from 0600-1800
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide bedside nursing care including basic wound care and medication administration for rehab patients recovering from strokes, amputations, TBI, SCI, MVA accidents, ortho conditions, trauma, and debility
• Work alongside a team-oriented, agile, and problem‑solving nursing staff
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full‑time
