Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a 13-week LTC/SNF contract requiring Minnesota state licensure (if applicable) and 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities include care in a post-acute/ memory care setting with 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, and a 36-hour weekly guarantee, across two units TAMARACK and Aspen Memory Care Unit. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license required if applicable
• Minnesota state licensure required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Dementia training required prior to start
• Must be flexible as assignments can change during shifts

Responsibilities

• Work in a post-acute, long-term care/skilled nursing facility (Critical Access Hospital)
• Two units: Tamarack (20 beds) and Aspen Memory Care Unit (20 beds)
• Primarily 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, with 36 hour per week guarantee
• RN/LPN staffing is one per unit during days and one covering both units at night
• No floating required between units
• Weekend coverage required typically every other weekend, possibly moreHoliday coverage required
• Uses MEDITECH and Point Click Care EMR systems
• Physicians round daily with 4-5 private practice providers
• Provide nursing care within an LTC/Memory Care unit setting
• Floor-specific orientation includes 3 shifts for RN/LPN roles
• Team is building a culture of teamwork and candidates should contribute positively
• Mandated shifts may be required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Any scrub color is acceptable
