Job summary

Healthforce seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Ossian, IA (LTC - Nursing Home). Start date 11/02/2026; 36 guaranteed hours weekly; 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekly pay range $1,429–$1,549 with a travel assignment duration of Weeks.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vitals monitoring, ADLs assistance, care plan implementation, and thorough documentation. Housing and recruiter support provided; extension options available.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Iowa or eligible to practice in Iowa.
CPR/BLS certification.
Long-term care experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and accurate documentation.
Monitor vital signs, assess changes, and report variances to the supervising RN.
Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence.
Implement and adjust care plans, perform basic wound care, and follow infection control and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate charting and communication with the health care team.
Ensure resident safety, fall prevention, and adherence to policies.
