Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a six-week travel assignment in Gallup, NM. This temporary role offers guaranteed 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, arranged in 3x12-day blocks, at a skilled nursing facility. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) in a busy geriatric setting.
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Administer medications and treatments with documentation.
• Monitor vital signs and respond per facility protocol.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and safety.
• Document care in EHR and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support care plans and infection prevention.
