Job summary

HireCare Services - Vermont is seeking an experienced LPN to join our team on a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Burlington, VT. As a Travel LPN, you will direct the daily activities of certified nursing assistants, ensure compliance with facility policies, and provide direct patient care.

This position offers a competitive weekly salary of $2000 along with housing and meal stipends, and the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Current valid LPN license in VT.
• Valid CPR certification.
• At least 1 year nursing experience (gerontological/long-term care desirable).
• Experience in gerontological or long-term care nursing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of certified nursing assistants.
• Transcribe physician orders, administer medications, and perform wound care as ordered.
• Provide nursing leadership and direct patient care (colostomy changes, tube feedings, IV administration).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet residents’ needs holistically.
• Initiate, review, and update care plans as required.
