Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Manchester, NH. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience and current L&D certifications (BLS, EFM, NRP, AWHONN).

Responsibilities include monitoring labor, assisting with delivery and newborn care, and providing patient support throughout the birthing process. Shifts are 12 hours at night with a 36-hour workweek; travel RN positions include a tax-free stipend and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• Valid BLS, EFM, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required or in scope.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and guide breathing techniques.
• Assess progression with cervical checks; ensure patient comfort.
• Assist physicians with delivery procedures and equipment as needed.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery support.
