Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Labor & Delivery travel nurse in Eureka, California, to cover 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment runs from 10/19/2026 to 04/19/2027 in a facility with high-risk obstetric care and diverse patient population.

The role requires an active RN license (compact accepted), 1 year L&D/postpartum experience, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRS, and Epic charting proficiency; float rotation may be needed and holiday coverage is

Qualifications

• Valid RN license; compact license accepted.
• At least 1 year in Labor & Delivery or postpartum nursing.
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRS certifications required.
• Experience charting with Epic.
• Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs.
• Willingness to work major holidays; references from last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across labor, delivery, postpartum and neonatal units.
• Manage high-risk obstetric patients and cesarean deliveries.
• Collaborate with medical teams for smooth patient flow in a travel assignment.
