Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. You will care for mothers and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, working 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours weekly.

Requires active RN license and a nursing degree with 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience, plus BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS and AWHONN certifications. Travel benefits and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

Active RN license and nursing degree from an accredited program.
Eighteen months of recent acute care L&D experience.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to laboring mothers and newborns throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during labor and potential high-risk conditions.
Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
