Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, for a 13-week assignment starting 10/19/2026.

Active RN license required with 18 months recent L&D acute care experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS/AWHONN may be required by the client facility. Travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Labor and Delivery setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor for potential high-risk problems and educate families after birth.
