TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa. The right RN should have 3 years' recent acute care experience and be available for a 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week on a night shift.

L&D travel nurses provide care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring both medical and emotional needs of patients.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care RN experience.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Assist with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
