Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Waterloo, IA. Nurses work 36 hours per week on a night shift, with travel benefits and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilization for mother and newborn.
• Document care and assessments accurately in the medical record.
