Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Nashville, Tennessee for Labor and Delivery. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and travel status. RN with 3 years of acute care experience preferred to support patients before, during, and after delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring mother and baby, assisting physicians, and managing postpartum care. Certifications ACLS/BLS/NRP/AWHONN are expected; additional certs may be required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Assist with delivery preparation and immediate newborn care.
