Modern Healthcare Solutions seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a busy obstetrics unit. You will care for laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers, including NSTs and delivery assistance, in a fast-paced environment within a Critical Access Hospital.

The role requires labor-trained RN credentials (NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring). Night shifts are 12 hours with 36 hours per week and travel compensation applies.

Qualifications

Must be labor-trained (RN) with obstetric experience.
Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).
Travel assignment with 36 hours/week and nights.
Must adapt to a fast-paced obstetrics unit.

Responsibilities

Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs).
Assist as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.

About Our Unit

This fast-paced environment focuses on caring for women and newborn infants following childbirth. You will play a critical role in guiding patients through the childbirth and postpartum journey within a team-oriented setting, emphasizing strong interdisciplinary collaboration. This unit operates within a Critical Access Hospital.

Requirements

Shift Information

Night Shift: 1845–0700 (6:45 PM–7:00 AM).
Holiday coverage is required.
