TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Monroe, Wisconsin.

We're looking for Labor and Delivery RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Monroe, WI. The right RN should have 3 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

L&D Travel Nurses provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of a baby. As an L&D RN, you will assist physicians when epidurals, pain medications, episiotomies, or cesarean deliveries occur, and you will provide immediate newborn care.

Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
Check cervix periodically to monitor progression or lack of dilation.
Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after birthing.
Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
Provide immediate care of newborn.

Requirements

FHM, BLS, NRP, 2 Years of experience required. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
