Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sedalia, MO. The role offers 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts with a start date of 10/05/2026.

You will deliver obstetric nursing care, monitor mothers and newborns, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, a valid RN license, BLS, and NRP certification, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• 1 year recent Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Document care and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia teams to ensure safe care.
