Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for an 8-week assignment in Palo Alto, CA. This role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the chance to provide high-quality obstetric care while exploring California’s Bay Area.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and NRP certification.
• Preferred: AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Assist physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including mother and newborn assessment.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
