Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Palo Alto, CA. This travel role requires 3 years of acute care experience, a California RN license, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NRP.

Shifts are 12 hours, days, with 36 hours per week and a tax-free stipend may apply. The travel RN will support obstetric patients from admission through postpartum, partner with physicians, and provide skilled care for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 years' recent acute care RN experience.
• Active RN license for California or multi-state license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status.
• Assist physicians during delivery, epidurals, and cesarean prep.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery support.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control in L&D unit.
