Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sterling, CO. The role focuses on maternal and fetal health, obstetric care, and collaboration with a clinical team to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum support.

The RN will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay, benefits, and provider support; travel clinicians gain access to comprehensive coverage and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in the respective state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including mother and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
