Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Aurora, CO. This role offers night shifts, a 36-hour work week, and travel benefits.

Responsibilities include assessing maternal and fetal health, delivering obstetric care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Travel experience preferred, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing protocols.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists for coordinated care.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
