Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Denver, CO is seeking a travel RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment, working 36 hours per week on nights. The role focuses on maternal and fetal health, obstetric procedures, and postpartum care, with opportunities to join a dedicated clinical team.

Required qualifications include 1 year of L&D RN experience, CO RN license, BLS and NRP. Preferred certifications such as AWHONN monitoring, STABLE and ACLS may be required for advancement.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and bedside judgment are essential.
• English language reading, writing and communication required.
• Proficiency in PC skills and following written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
