Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Lakeport, CA. The role involves bedside obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with obstetricians and anesthesiologists to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

This travel opportunity offers competitive pay, day one benefits, and comprehensive support. The ideal candidate has 1+ year recent Labor and Delivery experience, an active RN license in California, BLS, and NRP

Qualifications

One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery and examination.
Provide immediate postpartum care including mother and newborn assessment and stabilization.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
