Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Wyandotte, Michigan. The Labor and Delivery RN provides comprehensive obstetric care, including maternal and fetal assessment, medications, and teamwork with obstetric specialists during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, an active RN license, and BLS and NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in the state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments in obstetric nursing practice.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn stabilization.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
