Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Detroit, Michigan. You will care for mothers and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages while monitoring vitals and assisting with high-risk situations.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, with at least 18 months of L&D experience. AWHONN certification and client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications (AWHONN preferred).
• Eighteen months of recent experience in acute care Labor and Delivery.
• Client facility may have additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for mother and newborn during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum phases.
• Monitor vitals and assess for high-risk conditions.
• Educate families and support during delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes.
