Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week assignment in Lynwood, California. Join our team to provide expert obstetric care, monitor labor progress, and support patients through delivery and postpartum recovery.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, NRP, and at least 1 year of L&D experience. This travel position offers competitive pay, benefits, and a dedicated clinical team to support you on assignment.

Qualifications

One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
Valid RN license in good standing per state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

Assess maternal and fetal health; monitor labor progress and fetal status.
Administer medications and treatments following obstetric nursing practice.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor and delivery.
Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn stabilization as needed.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists.
Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence‑based protocols.
Document care accurately in the medical record.
Participate in quality improvement to improve outcomes.
