Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an unspecified location within the specialty of Labor and Delivery (L&D). This role involves providing obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases to patients. The position requires critical thinking, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively within the healthcare team. It offers a 13-week assignment starting on 10/26/2026, with night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights (7p-7a), minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), at least 2 years of prior travel experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby units. Certifications include ACLS, BLS, NRP, with PALS required but can be procured within 30 days of start. Experience in an AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) environment is preferred and there is an onsite option to complete the certification.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have reviewed potential housing and costs beforehand. Housing within 50 miles of the facility must be secured prior to acceptance. The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for providing obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, clinical competency, delegation, and supervision skills are essential. The role may require floating to other units as needed.
