Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The traveler will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel responsibilities and immediate start.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications. Responsibilities include supporting physicians, monitoring labor, and ensuring safe newborn care throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care RN experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• Travel nursing in L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care for mothers and newborns.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, cesarean preparations as needed.
• Monitor labor, contractions, breathing, and fetal status.
• Support post-delivery care and newborn stabilization.
• Maintain patient safety and respectful communication.
