Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Salem, Virginia. This RN role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates will have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications and at least 3 years of recent acute care experience. The job includes duties before, during, and after delivery, with nursing support for physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required.
• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• Travel nursing assignment in Salem, VA, 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians during epidurals, cesarean preparations, or delivery.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery support.
