Job summary

iDEAL Hire is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. The role requires active Nebraska RN licensure and travel nursing experience. You will work 12-hour night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, with on-call duties and some weekend coverage.

Housing is available for travelers; Cerner charting is used for patient records. The assignment emphasizes cross-unit flexibility across OB, Postpartum, Well-Baby, and potential Medical/Surgical float in a small rural

Qualifications

Active RN license valid for Nebraska.
Prior travel nursing experience required.
BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
PALS certification (AHA/ARC) or ENPC.
NRP certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care
Float as needed within the OB department, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery
Flex to Med/Surg as required, as this is a critical access facility with 25 beds requiring multifaceted nursing support
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
Participate in on-call responsibilities and adhere to the facility's call-off policy (maximum 3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty)
Attend orientation, which is conducted on Tuesdays only
