Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift in Massachusetts. Must hold an active MA RN license and have at least 2 years of L&D experience. Certifications ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner are required. The unit is a 15-bed Labor and Delivery with newborn nursery support, caring for neonates and adults. Night shifts are 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00) with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand before start.
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner certifications.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Support newborn care including APGAR scoring and thermoregulation.
• Assist vaginal deliveries, C-section recovery, and pain management.
• Perform fetal monitoring using external and internal methods.
• Handle high-risk conditions with appropriate protocols.
